Welcome to Hop Swing & a Jump Dance Studios!

Whether you want to learn how to swing dance, are preparing for your wedding dance, or are looking for entertainment at your next event, you've come to the right place. Our mission at Hop Swing and a Jump is to share the "joie de vivre" that has characterized swing dancing since the beginning, while offering high-quality instruction and performances.  

IN OUR LESSONS, our goal is to offer expert instruction in a fun, accepting environment. Your individual progress as a dancer matters to us, but so does your enjoyment. Swing dancing is a great way to meet new people, enjoy good music and get exercise -- all at the same time. We fell in love with it, and we hope you do, too.

AT YOUR EVENT, our professional dancers will thrill your guests with gravity-defying performances, adding to the festive atmosphere with authentic clothing, music and dance styles from the 1920s to the 1950s. In addition to performances and lessons, we can also provide social dancers to mingle and dance with your guests, helping spread the fun to everyone.

Hop Swing and a Jump in NYC has new and exciting material for the late
Spring session 2008!!!

Join us for great dancing and excellent instruction from world champion
Yuval Hod and the Hop Swing and a Jump crew.

The new session at Hop Swing and a Jump in NYC starts May
19th and will run through June 27th.

Although we recommend that you register before classes begin, you may
register any time through the second week of the session. Our class schedule
may be found here. You can avoid waiting in line by calling us in advance at
212-ALL-SWING (212-255-7946). We accept all major credit cards and checks
(cash, too!).

Following the Hop, Swing and a Jump tradition, we will be teaching new and
exciting material in a fun and high-spirited environment.
